During my teenage years, I was privileged to reside in Tongyeong—a quaint coastal city cradled by the sea on three sides and often dubbed the 'Korean Naples.' Located at the southernmost tip of the Korean peninsula, Tongyeong is celebrated for its myriad of islands and breathtaking scenery. Growing up in this idyllic setting provided me with a unique perspective on the constraints and stresses of urban life.

I firmly believe that architecture is intrinsically linked to nature, and that spaces crafted through our interactions with the natural world are pivotal to achieving inner peace. As we envision the future, it is imperative that we pursue harmony with nature, acknowledging it as the foundation for a sustainable and enriching future.
