The site and building facing Yulgok Road were subject to partial demolition, necessitating remodeling that involved cutting some parts of the main structural elements, such as staircases and columns, due to their exposure to the street. The remodeling aimed to accommodate alterations, including the conversion of basement levels 2 and 1 into existing parking and school facilities, with the first floor being partially converted into community facilities for future use as a café or auxiliary facilities for students. Additionally, plans were made to address aging or inconvenient existing school facilities by either redesigning or grouping them anew.

The previous main entrance facing Yulgok Road became inaccessible due to a height difference with the road, leading to the creation of a new staircase after part of the main staircase was cut. The complexity of the construction required collaboration among various experts, especially in the structural aspects, without which the project would have been impossible. For the façade facing Yulgok Road, a turret-style design was planned to provide views of Changgyeonggung and Changdeokgung Palaces and the distant Bukhansan Mountain. In line with the requirement to maintain a similar aesthetic to the existing building and use similar materials, granite was chosen as the primary material.  Due to road restoration works, the area of the existing building has slightly reduced. However, through rational room layout and zoning, we have created a more comfortable spatial arrangement. Customized space planning tailored to the operational needs of the school and counseling rooms has allowed for more effective utilization of the limited space.
