It is a peace and quiet place with only one house nearby, although there is a village in the distance on the hillside overlooking the mountains branched from Jirisan Mountain (Korea) and the winding Boseonggang River. In addtion, the land is the highest than that of nearby residential area, and it looks at the river in the distance with the mountains surrounding it like a folding screen.

In the design process, the client, who decied to build a house on the land of about 992 m², requested a gallery-like house, a house where he can stay comfortably, and eco-friendly house for his health recovery, with the interior ceiling and walls finished with wood and the floor with ocher. The site is connected by mountain in the distance is spectacular on the south side. It is a place where anyone wants to stay because fog is wrapped under my feet in the morning, and crape myrtle blooms in the fall.

The house was placed at an angle to the southwest side so he could enjoy the natural scenery that spreads far beyond the yard when sitting indoors. For the facade, the height of the roof was adjusted to give the feeling of a segmented mass in order to have the concept of separating the building around the entrance, and an attic with a wide horizontal window was planned on it. A gallery type eaves and toenmaru are constructed on the front right side, from which the landscape becomes a pucture and a relaxing space where one can feel the warm sunlight and clean air.
